Grinding for a water-pump bearing application
Darmann’s grinding wheels achieved a surface roughness below 0.4 μm, with wheel lifespan reaching 26,000 parts and a 150-piece dressing interval.
Outer-ring grinding for a raceway application
Darmann’s grinding wheels increased feed rate from 80 μm/s to 120 μm without burn, while extending dressing intervals to 200 parts at a 21,000-part wheel life. We achieved 2-3 μm roundness and an Ra 0.24-0.6 surface finish.
